NQ Jaw Set
The NQ Jaw Set is a complete replacement set used in the footclamp assembly for NQ-size core drills (Ø69.9mm). Designed to provide a secure grip on drill rods, this set includes a full set of hardened jaw inserts optimized for performance in demanding exploration mining environments.

Our footclamp jaws are a design variation based of the older brazed in carbide style. The jaw itself is machined from solid block steel in only 2 setups on out 5 axis CNC. Doing this results in a accurate and consistent gripping force onto the drill pipes. The teeth are machined from tool steel which has then been hardened to 55hrc. The advantage of this is that the teeth can be replaced in the field in minutes instead of having to bring a number of heavy spare jaws along. The teeth are the same across all sizes.
We have been selling our jaws for many years and have been constantly improving both reliability and manufacturing consistency.
