Cerberus Drill Rod Make & Break Spanner
The DTH Pipe Spanner is a 3 headed steel tool for make/break of drill rods of NQ, HQ & PQ. Each head has specifically shaped jaws to match perfectly the shape of the pipe. The jaws wrap around the head trapping it in to ensure the spanner does not slip off under pressure.
The head is spring loaded to allow operation without placint hands/arms around the back of the rod.
The Cerberus spanner is full machined and assembled, no welding. Part can be replaced in the field without any specialised tools.
