DTH Foot Clamp (Rod Clamp)

This is a Sandvik style exploration hydraulic drill rig foot clamp. Our foot clamp is made from a full cast steel frame, links & couplings. The focus of our design is to be as sturdy as it could possibly get. This is a product that won’t fail out in the wilderness.

Key Features

1 Piece SC40 steel castings, a unified 1 piece design to give all components the most strength as possible. All castings are cast and tempered with SGS tensile strength reports available.
Fabricated components made from S50C steel. Again higher quality steel used to provide a longer lasting unit.
LH and RH balancing rod to allow immediate adjustment.
Can hold a pipe range of BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ, PWT & SW
Exposed components plated to give environmental protection
Supplied in a grey etched undercoat. Enamel orange or yellow coating is available upon request.
Our footclamp is constantly evolving with feedback taken seriously.
Fitted with our inserted jaws allows this unit to be maintained on the go with replacement teeth which are interchangeable with all of our jaw sets.

Please note that despite what salesmen representing welded-up units may say, a good cast unit can be superior to any welded unit simply because it is a one piece design with 100% contact area (ie. it’s solid). This fabrication is made up to justify the higher prices they charge and their lack of exposure to getting good steel cast parts.
