ABOUT DTH PRODUCTS

DTH Products is a brand of Ipoh Castings Sdn Bhd based in Ipoh, Malaysia.  We created it to showcase our drilling (Down the Hole) products.  Ipoh Castings is an Australian owned and managed aluminium high pressure and gravity aluminium foundry, we decided as we had all the machinery for manufacturing moulds we would provide machining and products for the drilling industry.  Established in 1997 and originally only selling within Australia but now through out the world. Our philosophy for manufacturing it to design and create the most reliable tooling we can.  If you’re drilling remotely then our products are best suited for you.  We are not guided by cost but a desire to manufacture a part of great reliability regardless of conditions.  We view that any product made well will be successful in the market and hope this gives customers confidence in our products.

We bring our many skills from the die casting industry to the DTH fabrication industry such as ferrous (steel) casting, precision machining (5 Axis), heat treatment, surface treatment, logistics and after sales technical support.  We are also equipped with the latest in 3D CAD, laser marking, multi lingual staff and other strategic advantages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you manufacture exclusive products for customers?

Yes, we currently have exclusive commercial agreements with a number of companies where we only supply, to them, a specific design or product that is well suited to our manufacturing facility.  We are also interested  in appointing agents for regional markets for our own products and after market replacements.

Depends on the location, within Australia we have our own warehouse located in Albury, NSW and can deliver  direct to the customer.  We are also able to ship direct to the customer in most other Asian countries.  In other locations such as within Africa we are best to supply up to port (air or sea) and then the customers agents will handle the importing clearance.  Some countries are very particular so it’s best to let local people deal with it.

Yes, we like to keep a small amount of teeth, holders, break out spanners and foot clamps in both Malaysia and Australia for urgent requirements.  If we do not have enough on hand it will take ~2-3 weeks to make up a new batch of any particular design.
